Smoke Screen

I’m so tired of people acting like they’re all that and a bag of chips. This one guy at school (he’s a senior), he keeps talking about how he “doesn’t even own a car,” and how he only rides his motorcycle everywhere. Yeah, but he never mentions how his girlfriend drives him to school when it’s raining, or cold or whatever.

Then this really annoying girl is always going on about how she skips lunch period so she can “focus on studies,” and always seems to mention it when the teachers are around. I happen to know for a fact that she snacks in class all day with granola bars and stuff, and I always see her at the bakery after school, eating pizza and subs with her friends. So her whole little act is just a lie! Or at least not very honest.

Fair weather friend?
Fair weather friend?

And this kind of stuff happens all the time here. I’m just sick of it. It’s like, if you’re doing something that helps others, or actually sacrificing something for a good reason, then that’s okay. You can talk about it all day long.

But if you’re just putting on some act so you’ll get pity or whatever, I think that is just stupid. It’s deceitful and annoying! I don’t want to hear it anymore.

Sorry to be a downer this week, but this has been grating on me! I’ll try to stop whining for next time! 🙂

xoxo,
