Eating in the car is not only messy… it could also land you in jail. Just ask Dan Rushing.
The Orlando, Florida man was arrested after police mistook donut crumbs in his car for crystal meth. Cops say they tested the crumbs twice in a drug kit, and both times it was positive for meth. They had orignially thought it was crack-cocaine. Rushing says he has a good explanation:
“Every other Wednesday, I stop at Krispy Kreme and get a doughnut there. And they found four little flakes of the icing.”
Rushing has been released from custody. In lawsuit papers, His attorney says the incident was ‘clearly a false positive (drug test).’
