A Chicago man is suing McDonald’s over what he calls unfair pricing.
In the lawsuit, James Gertie asserts that buying cheeseburger value meals are more expensive than purchasing the burgers separately. He points to math that shows he can save 41 cents by separately purchasing two cheeseburgers, medium French fries and a soft drink, instead of the more convenient value meal option.
Gertie says it’s not about the pocket change, but rather about “the principle.”
